Roly's Run is an annual trail running event held in the scenic Meon Valley and South Downs Way, Hampshire, in memory of ultra-runner Rich Walklate (Roly). The event offers three distance options: 15.5, 21.5, and 40 miles, featuring challenging ascents and approximately 80% trail terrain. The courses form a clockwise loop starting and finishing at Swanmore Village Hall, passing through landmarks like Beacon Hill, Exton, Meonstoke, and Winchester Hill. The 40-mile route includes a 10-hour cutoff and covers additional loops around East Meon and Butser Hill. The event welcomes both runners and walkers, with fully stocked checkpoints and marked trails, providing a rewarding challenge for newcomers and seasoned ultra runners alike.
