Roly's Run takes place on Sunday 16 November 2025 in the Meon Valley, Hampshire. Race headquarters is Swanmore Village Hall, New Road, Swanmore, SO32 2PF. Entries opened 20 March 2025 and close 10 November 2025. The event is currently full; new entries are placed on a waiting list. Entries so far: 300. Waiting list entries: 5.

Distances offered:

  • 15.5 mile (463 m ascent)
  • 21.5 mile (712 m ascent)
  • 40 mile (1,266 m ascent; 10 hour cut-off)

Entry fees vary by distance and membership status: 15/20 mile - £30 (UKA member) / £32 (non-member); 40 mile - £50 (UKA member) / £52 (non-member). Walkers are permitted in the 15/20 mile events. On the day competitors may swap between the 15 and 20 mile options. Minimum ages apply for each distance.

All courses form a clockwise loop from Swanmore, passing Beacon Hill, Exton, Meonstoke and sections of the South Downs Way, with the 40 mile route extending to East Meon, Ramsdean and Butser Hill before returning. The route is about 80% trail, includes climbs and some sections that can be tricky underfoot after rain. Courses will be waymarked and a current GPX file will be available before the event. Join the New Forest Xmas Trails on 7 December 2025 for a festive run through heath and woodland in the New Forest. Fully marked single lap courses from 15km to 50km start at Holmesly Campsite and you can plant a tree instead of a medal.

Join the Hampshire Christmas Advent Calendar Run in Forest of Bere for timed laps on a 5.3 km off road loop; start within a one hour window and run as many laps as you can in seven hours. All entrants get a commemorative medal.
