Rocky Mountain Milestone Challenge : Granby, CO

The Rocky Mountain Milestone Challenge is a timed endurance event based at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. Athletes run repeated laps of a roughly 10 mile trail loop and have 60 hours to complete as many laps as they choose. The loop includes dirt roads, OHV trails, mountain biking trails and equestrian trails with varying terrain such as single and double track, hard packed dirt and rocky sections. The planned elevation gain for the loop is about 1,200 ft and the final route is still being confirmed.

The event is offered as an all inclusive experience with on site lodging options, meals, fuel and hydration at aid stations, recovery services and event support. Accommodation choices include shared rooms, private rooms, yurts and campsites with different availability. Support features include a coached training program, recovery amenities and an online community for participants. Milestone distances marked during the event include standard race lengths up to and beyond 100 miles; runners mark laps on a progress board and may rest between laps using the provided facilities.
