Rocky Mountain Milestone Challenge : Granby, Colorado

The Rocky Mountain Milestone Challenge is a multi-day endurance event based at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, CO (1101 Co Rd 53). Athletes run repeated laps of a roughly 10-mile trail loop and attempt to cover as much distance as they can within a 60 hour window. The event presents milestone distances that participants may reach during the challenge.

The loop mixes dirt roads, OHV trails, mountain bike and equestrian trails with single and double track, hard-packed dirt and rocky sections. The planned elevation gain for the loop is about 1,200 ft. The route passes through fields, forests and stands of aspens and includes views from mountain peaks.

Entry for the full challenge lists a base price of $2,049 for the 100 mile option. The event package includes four nights accommodation with several options, all food and drinks including aid station support, a coach-led training program with group calls and Q&A, and on-site recovery services such as massage therapy, compression boots, yoga and recovery tools. Standard lodging is a shared cabin room with two queen beds and a private bathroom; alternative lodging options and campsite choices are available at adjusted prices.
