Rocky Mountain Milestone Challenge
The Rocky Mountain Milestone Challenge is an endurance running event held at Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. Participants traverse a 10 mile trail loop consisting of dirt roads, mountain biking trails, equestrian trails, and OHV tracks. The terrain includes a mix of single and double tracks, hard-packed dirt, and rock, featuring approximately 1,200 ft of elevation gain per lap. The course leads runners through forests, fields, and aspen groves with views from mountain peaks.
This event follows a flexible format where athletes have 60 hours to complete as many laps as possible. While the primary objective is to reach milestones such as 13.1 miles, 26.2 miles, 50k, 50 miles, 100k, or 100 miles, runners can choose when to run and when to rest within the total time limit.
The entry is all-inclusive and provides for several logistical needs:
- Four nights of accommodation at Snow Mountain Ranch, with options ranging from shared rooms in cabins to private yurts or campsites.
- All meals, snacks, and drinks, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hydration at aid stations.
- Access to recovery facilities such as massage therapy, compression boots, yoga, and foam rollers.
- A pre-event training program curated by coaches, including group calls and an online community.
The ranch is located just under two hours from Denver, offering on-site parking for those arriving by car. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
