Winter Park Trail Runs : Winter Park, CO (August 1, 2026)

The Winter Park Trail Runs include three mountain trail distances that start in the high country and finish in town. Courses use high-elevation singletrack, rugged mountain trail, and dirt roads with long views of the Continental Divide. The event takes place around Winter Park Resort and finishes at the Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park in downtown Winter Park. The Rendezvous Event Center provides restroom facilities, shade structures, a picnic pavilion, and a skate park near the Visitor’s Center.

  • 50K : ~31.7 miles; ~4,370 ft elevation gain; max elev ~10,800 ft; 85% unpaved.
  • 21K : ~13.4 miles; ~2,036 ft elevation gain; max elev ~10,800 ft.
  • 10K : ~6 miles; ~920 ft elevation gain; ~85% singletrack; max elev ~9,500 ft.

Aid stations provide sports gels, Precision electrolyte drink, water, Skittles, PB&J rolls, and potato chips; cups are not provided and common pain medications will not be available. Radio contact and basic medical materials will be at aid stations. Runners must stay on the marked course and display race plates at all times. The event awards men's and women's age-group prizes across standard decades from under 20 through 60 plus. Dogs on leashes are allowed at start/finish and aid stations but are not permitted on course. The event includes packet pickup, an expo, post-race meal and awards as part of the weekend activities.
