Winter Park Trail Runs

The Winter Park Trail Runs in Winter Park, CO include three mountain trail distances and point to point and loop formats across alpine terrain. Courses start at Winter Park Resort or Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park and finish in town at Rendezvous Event Center.

The 50K is a point to point route with about 4,370 feet of elevation gain, a maximum elevation near 10,800 feet, and an estimated surface mix of 85% unpaved and 15% paved. The 21K shares the early section with the 50K, gains about 2,036 feet, and reaches similar high country. The 10K is mostly singletrack with about 920 feet of climbing and a maximum elevation near 9,500 feet.

Aid stations provide sports gels, Tailwind electrolyte drink, water, Skittles, PB&J rolls, and potato chips. Cups are not provided and common over the counter pain relievers are not supplied. Radio contact and basic medical materials are available at aid stations. Dogs on leashes are allowed at the start, finish, and aid stations but are not allowed on course.

Age group awards are offered for men and women in Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+ categories. Free public transportation runs during the day to return participants to the resort parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
