The SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio, TX. The event is capped at 400 participants (100 per distance) and offers both in-person and virtual options. Packet pick-up is available Friday, October 24 at REI San Antonio and on race morning at Eisenhower Park.
Distances:
- 53K - 10 loops (33 miles / 4000 ft gain)
- 27K - 5 loops (16.5 miles / 2000 ft gain)
- 10K - 2 loops (6.6 miles / 800 ft gain)
- 5K - 1 loop (3.3 miles / 400 ft gain)
Course and logistics
The course is a 3.3 mile loop with about 400 feet of elevation per loop, run on natural trails Hillview, Shady Creek, Red Oak, and Live Oak, with three short paved sections totaling just under 3/4 mile. The race is chip-timed; timing chips are on the back of the bib and the bib should be worn on the front. Aid: one on-course aid station near Mile 2 with water and electrolytes, plus start/finish water. Runners must carry their own hydration or a collapsible cup - this is a cupless race. A bag drop and larger aid station will be available for 53K/27K near the finish with food and race nutrition.
Awards: top 3 overall M/F and top 3 masters (40+) M/F per distance; no age-group awards. Rules include no dogs or strollers, headphones discouraged, first aid with EMTs on site, limited parking, and no refunds. Results and photos will be posted within seven days.
