The SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run takes place on October 24, 2026, at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio, TX. The event offers in-person and virtual options with four distance choices:

The race field is capped at 350 runners. SARR members receive a 25% online registration discount through September 27, 2026. All registrants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal; 53K finishers also receive a beanie and sticker.
Course and logistics
The event uses a looped course called the "Time Warp." Each loop is 3.3 miles with about 400 feet of elevation and includes rocky, root-strewn natural trails (Hillview, Shady Creek, Red Oak, Live Oak) and three short paved sections totaling just under 0.75 miles. Loop counts and total distances listed by the organizer:
- 5K = 1 loop (3.3 miles / 400 ft gain)
- 10K = 2 loops (6.6 miles / 800 ft gain)
- 27K = 5 loops (16.5 miles / 2000 ft gain)
- 53K = 10 loops (33 miles / 4000 ft gain)
The race is chip-timed. The event is cupless; participants must carry their own hydration device or a collapsible cup. One aid station on the course offers water and electrolytes; water and electrolytes are also available at start/finish. A bag drop and larger aid station will be available for 27K and 53K near the finish.
Rules, awards and services
No dogs or strollers are allowed on course. Headphones are discouraged. EMTs and a first aid tent will be on site. Awards are given to the top three overall and top three masters (40+) by gender category; there are no age-group awards. Results and photos will be posted within seven days.
