Course, logistics and rules
The course is a 3.3 mile loop called the "Time Warp" with about 400 feet of elevation per loop. Loops run on natural rocky, elevated trails - Hillview, Shady Creek, Red Oak and Live Oak - with rocks and roots, plus about three paved sections totaling just under three quarters of a mile. The event is cupless - participants must carry their own hydration device or a collapsible cup. One aid station is located at mile 2 with water and electrolytes; water and electrolytes are also available at the start/finish. A bag drop and aid station for 53K/27K will be located near the finish with food and nutrition items.
The race is chip-timed and bibs contain the timing chip on the back. Awards are given to the Top 3 Overall M/F and Top 3 Masters (40+) M/F per distance by chip time; there are no age group awards. Results and free photos will be posted within seven days. Rules note no dogs or strollers on course, headphones are discouraged, first aid with EMTs will be on site, parking is limited, and refunds are not available.
