The Summer Meltdown Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at O. P. Schnabel Park, 9606 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78250. The event is produced by Bigfoot Running Company and includes on-course aid stations and a race rally area with food and refreshments at the finish. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the race start. Shirt orders are guaranteed if requested at least 10 days before the event. A virtual run option is available.

Volunteer roles include water station, course monitor, finish line helper, packet pickup, lead bike, mascot, and sweeper; some volunteer positions earn a race shirt, VIP access, or a choice of a future free race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
