- 26.2 mile Trail Marathon
- Relay teams of two, three, or four people
Course Details
The event features a generous 18-hour cutoff time for the 50-mile course, making it accessible to both runners and hikers. The route is well-marked and supported by closely spaced, well-stocked aid stations staffed by volunteers. The terrain primarily utilizes the preserve's network of historic carriage roads rather than narrow single-track trails.
The finish line includes a celebratory party for participants. As a fundraising-focused event, personalized support is available for those raising money to help protect the northern Shawangunk Ridge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
