Richmond Park Half Marathon

Event

The Richmond Park Half Marathon is organised by 1 Mile 2 Go Events and takes place in Richmond Park at the Sheen Gate car park area, TW10 5HT. The next scheduled race is on 13/09/2026. The event is a trail run held entirely within Richmond Park and covers a distance of 13.1 miles.

Course

The race start and finish area is at Sheen Gate. From there the route goes to Richmond Gate and returns to Sheen Gate before moving through the centre of the park toward the White House, offering views of the park lakes and the chance to see wildlife. Runners then head down to Robin Hood Gate and join the Tamsin Trail around the inner walls of the royal park. The course climbs Broomfield Hill, where there is a drinks station, and continues toward Kingston Gate. The route passes through wooded areas to Ham Gate, which has another drinks and feed station. Runners proceed onto Petersham Gate, then turn back toward Ham Gate and climb the main track alongside Queens Road, where the route crosses the road and returns toward the main private road through the park centre. This central section is flat before the course reaches the White House and returns to Sheen Gate for the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
