Relentless Run & Ruck Challenge
The Relentless Run & Ruck Challenge is a trail endurance event held on the trails of Camp Greenough in Yarmouth, MA. The course is a roughly 5 km loop combining access roads and single track on a fully closed course. Participants may run, walk, hike, or ruck according to their chosen division.
Event options include three formats:
- 5K: One loop of the approximately 5 km course.
- 10K: Two loops, about 10 km total.
- Relentless 6-Hour Endurance Challenge: Complete as many loops as possible in six hours.
Divisions are Run (no weight) and Ruck. Ruck weight requirements are dry weight only: men 30 lb, women 20 lb. A mandatory ruck weigh-in occurs before the start and rucks may be weighed at the finish. Required weight must be non-consumable and non-wearable. Food, water, and clothing may not be used as required weight. Extra gear is allowed but counts as additional weight.
Ruck gear must be carried on the back in a traditional ruck or backpack; plate carriers, sling bags, and duffel bags are not allowed. Participants may remove a ruck on course but may not make forward progress without it on their back. Trekking poles are not permitted.
Relentless Basecamp serves as a shared central hub for multiple-loop participants. One fully stocked aid station with water, electrolytes, and snacks is located at Basecamp. The event is sanctioned and insured by USA Track & Field. Heroes In Transition is the official charitable beneficiary and Alquist 3d will donate twenty dollars from every paid event registration to that charity.
