Reindeer Run 5K
The Reindeer Run at ShawneeCraft Brewery is a holiday-themed event held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Course in Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania. The course transitions from a bridge onto the historic golf course, where participants travel along cart paths and fairways. The route also includes a section of wooded trail before concluding at the brewery.
Available distances include:
- 5 km running race
- 1 mile non-timed walk
The 5 km race is chip-timed. Both walkers and children are permitted to participate in the 5 km distance provided they are registered. This distance has a time limit of one hour. The 1 mile walk is a non-timed alternative. Due to the nature of the course design, strollers and dogs are not permitted at this event.
The event features several post-race amenities at the ShawneeCraft Brewery. Finishers receive a complimentary craft beer or a soda for those under 21. Participants who register by the specific cutoff date are guaranteed a custom fleece-lined beanie and a beer glass. Live music is provided at the venue following the event, and food options are available for purchase.
