Rattler 5 Miler

The Rattler 5 Miler takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Rapid City, South Dakota. The event base is Black Hills Running Company at 1130 W Omaha Street. The course runs primarily through Hanson-Larsen Memorial Park, also known as M-Hill, and is approximately five miles in length.

All entrants receive a custom July 2026 to June 2027 calendar featuring photos from the race director's preferred trails. Lunch and beverages will be available after the race. Additional event items include door prize giveaways and free Rattler hats for children who participate.

Youth entry for those 16 and under is free; free youth entries do not include race swag. A registration fee applies for other entrants, and Black Hills Runners Club members can apply a membership discount during registration by using their membership ID. Registration closes Friday, June 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
