Haven Half Marathon, 30k & 10k

The event takes place on Tomaha Trail and surrounding roads in Hisega, Pennington County, South Dakota on July 25, 2026. It offers three measured trail and road courses with published elevation profiles and maps.

Distances

• Haven 30K: 20.5 miles, 2,700 ft elevation gain
• Haven Half Marathon: 12.37 miles, 1,948 ft elevation gain
• Haven 10K: 6.2 miles, out and back course, 1,032 ft elevation gain

Shuttle service runs from the finish/parking area to the starts for the 30K and the half marathon; participants may also be dropped off at the start. Park on Tomaha Trail for finish area access; the 10K start is at Hisega Lodge with parking north of the lodge. Course maps and elevation charts are provided for each distance.

Registration details note a shirt guarantee for entries completed by 11:59 p.m. on July 18, 2026 and a registration closing on July 25, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The event page shows membership discounts for Black Hills Runners Club members and indicates youth entries age 16 and under are free with no swag. Example posted fees include $71.93 for the half and 30K, $55.83 for the 10K, and $23.60 for food and drink; member discounts are applied during registration.
