Ragnar Trail Individual SoCal takes place at the Los Coyotes Reservation in Warner Springs, CA. The event offers three individual race options that use the same network of loops and trails around Ragnar Village, with overnight camping and festival activities on site.

Race options include:

  • Single Loop : Yellow Loop, 3.1 miles, 574 ft elevation gain.
  • 6H Ultra : timed six hour event, unlimited loops on the course.
  • 24H Ultra : timed 24 hour event across the same loops.

The Yellow Loop departs from Ragnar Village, passes through a canopy of large oaks, includes a steep climb and a fast single-track descent, then a near-vertical climb with valley views before a downhill return to the valley floor. The full course system totals 15.7 miles per loop and 2,975 feet total elevation gain; ultra racers complete as many loops as they can within their time limit. Terrain features include rugged mountain hills, fire roads, and single-track desert trails with junipers, pines and oaks.

Ragnar Village functions as the event hub and includes food trucks, bonfires with s'mores and campfire stories, music, yoga, partner prizes, and festival-style amenities.
