Race The Ranch is a snowshoe race held on April 4, 2026 at Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA in Granby, Colorado. Course and participant information
The race requires snowshoes to be carried on the athlete for the full event; they may be worn, packed, or otherwise on the person. Courses are expected to use singletrack, doubletrack, and groomed snowshoe trails and may be modified before race day due to weather or trail conditions. Course cut-offs are set at 10 hours overall, with a 7.5 hour cut-off for the final lap.
There are two aid stations: the start/finish location and an on-course station at approximately 4 miles. Aid station items include water/Skratch, chips, cookies, bananas, vegetable soup or broth, and assorted salty and sweet snacks. The event is cup-less; participants are asked to use their own cup or bottle. Packet pickup is preferred on Friday, April 3, with limited pickup available the morning of the event. Parking is in designated spots only. Swag includes a custom beanie and a custom engraved Miir camp mug for finishers. Pricing tiers apply and increase on Dec 1 and Feb 1.
