Race The Light is a unique trail running event held at Mothecombe on the Erme Estuary in Devon, England. The classic race covers 8.5 miles of shadowy estuarine trails through the private Flete Estate, featuring a challenging double crossing of the River Erme estuary, making it a race against both light and tide. The course starts at Coastguards Beach and finishes with a steep uphill climb to the SchoolhouseDevon restaurant. A half marathon option is also available, extending the classic route with an additional five miles along the South West Coast Path and a final estuary crossing with a strict cut-off time.
