Norwich Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Norfolk Showground, with obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding. The route is contained within the showground, consists of pathways and grass, and is described as relatively flat. The start and finish are within the main showground arena, a short walk from the Dereham Gate entrance.

Waves start at 15 minute intervals to reduce congestion on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in this event; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are offered for younger children. A minimum fundraising target of £50 is specified. Entry prices are listed as Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00.

On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and event parking on grass. There is a noted 10 minute walk from the event car park to the arena. Blue Badge parking and drop-off access are available at the same location as general parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs; there are no showers, no bag drop and no bike racks. Electric vehicle charging points are not available.

Registered participants receive an event email with practical details, a fundraising pack and a customisable back sign, plus training materials and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
