Cheltenham Pretty Muddy 5k

Cheltenham Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle event held at Cheltenham Racecourse, Prestbury Park (GL50 4SH). The course is contained within the racecourse and circles the site. The start and finish are on tarmac in front of the grandstand buildings. The surface of the route includes grass, woodchip and paths.

Participants climb, crawl and slide around the Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course. Waves start every 15 minutes to manage numbers on the course. Marshals are present to assist at obstacles. The minimum age to take part in this event is 13. Separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under.

Practical information includes free general parking at the racecourse with access to the start via Gate 21, approximately 100 m from the start line. Blue badge parking, drop off areas and volunteer parking are available with steward directions. There are electric car charging points at the racecourse and bike racks on the B4705 about a five minute walk away. The nearest train station is Cheltenham, around an hour on foot.

On-site facilities listed for this event include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs, bag drop and showers are not available. The event is not wheelchair accessible.
