Cheltenham Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy obstacle course of 5k held at Cheltenham Racecourse, Prestbury Park, GL50 4SH. The start and finish are on tarmac in front of the grandstand buildings. The route loops within the racecourse and is on a mix of grass, woodchip and paths.

Participants climb, crawl and slide over a series of obstacles on the course. Start waves are staggered, with each wave beginning every 15 minutes; groups are advised to select the same wave. The event requires participants to be at least 13 years old on the day; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for younger children.

Facilities at the venue include refreshments, toilets and on-site parking. Blue Badge parking is available on hardstanding about 50 m from the event site. General parking and drop-off access are provided via Gate 21, approximately 100 m from the start area. Bike racks are on the B4705 about a five minute walk away. There are electric vehicle charging points at the racecourse.

This event is organised by Cancer Research UK and has a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry prices noted are £11.24 for adults and £6.00 for children. Due to the nature of the course, the event is not wheelchair accessible and grass sections may become soft or muddy in wet weather.

Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources, community support and a Race for Life medal on completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
