Cheltenham Pretty Muddy 5k

The event takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse, Prestbury Park, Cheltenham (postcode GL50 4SH) on Saturday 27 June 2026. It is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course where participants climb, crawl and slide around a route contained within the racecourse.

The start and finish are on tarmac in front of the grandstand buildings. The course runs on a combination of grass, woodchip and paths. Wave starts are used, with each wave beginning 15 minutes after the previous one. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in this event; a separate Pretty Muddy Kids programme exists for younger children.

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the course and is also not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Free parking is available at the racecourse with access to the start area through Gate 21, approximately 100 metres from the start line. Bike racks are located on the B4705 about a five minute walk away. The nearest train station is described as about an hours walk away.

Accessibility provisions include sunflower wristbands, Event Managers trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content. A four-race summer cross country series in Herefordshire and nearby venues from 3 June to 15 July 2026, with events at Treworgan Farm, Shobdon Woods, Bearwood Farm and Newton Court. Entry is limited to eligible first claim club members.

Trail routes at Bruern Farm Estate on 6 June 2026 include 2.5K, 5K and 5 Mile or 8K with age rules for younger runners; proceeds support the Wychwood Life Centre.

Experience a 10k run through the National Trust Brockhampton Estate. This limited entry event features a hilly course with views and welcomes cani cross participants.

A multi-distance trail event in the Cotswolds on 13-14 June 2026 centered at Cirencester basecamp, offering strong route support, GPS tracking, regular rest stops, medical cover, camping and finishers awards.
