Quivering Quads Trail Runs

Event details

The Quivering Quads Trail Runs take place on March 8, 2026, at Frenchman’s Bluff Trail in Cuivre River State Park, Troy, Missouri. Registration is limited to 400 participants. Distances offered:

• Half Marathon
• 8 Mile

Participants receive a long sleeve shirt, a custom finisher medal, and post-race food, snacks, beer, and other refreshments.

Course

Both courses include bluff views, climbs and descents, multiple creek crossings, and a mix of wide fire roads, narrow single-track trails, rolling hills, and steep climbs. Runners should expect typical Midwest trail conditions such as rocks, roots, and mud. Dogs are not permitted on the course or at the event. Runners are started in waves of 30 to 35 participants and seeded by predicted road race pace.

Registration and logistics

Packet pickup is available Saturday at Fleet Feet - St. Charles (10:00 am - 5:00 pm) and Sunday at the race site (8:15 am - 10:00 am). There will be on-course aid stations with minimal supplies; participants are encouraged to carry hydration and nutrition. Course marshals and traffic control will be present, and athletic trainers will be available at the finish. There is a course cutoff time of 1:00 pm.

Awards are given to the top two male and female overall finishers and the top two male and female finishers in age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Volunteers receive race swag or a $10 Fleet Feet gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
