Q50 Races Run to The Hills

Q50 Run to the Hills : June 13, 2026

This is a trail running event at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, LA. The event marks the 20th anniversary of Q50 Races and supports the New Orleans Mission shelter. It offers two measured route options and post-race activities are available at the park.

Distances:

• 10 miles: two loops on a dirt trail with small hills; one aid station.
• 5 miles: one loop around the park trail; no aid station.

Organizers ask participants to bring their own hydration containers, bottles, cups, or hydration packs because the event practices a minimal paper policy and will not provide disposable cups. Water and Gatorade will be available at refill stations and a limited number of paper cups may be on hand. Food for race participants will be provided by the New Orleans Mission.

There is a park entrance fee of three dollars per person; seniors aged 62 and older and children under three are exempt from that fee. Registration transfers and refunds are not permitted. Mileage changes had a deadline before the event and are not allowed on race day. The course rules prohibit dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, and earphones. Participants are advised to use insect repellent, sunscreen, and to take precautions for hot weather.
