Q50 Races Chupacabra takes place on November 7, 2025 at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, LA (Meeting Room area). It is a night trail event offering the following distances:

• 10 miles
• 5 miles Registration closes November 4. A park entrance fee of $3 per person will be collected at the site.

Course, logistics and rules

The course is a dirt trail with some small hills and is run as a 5-mile loop; the 10-mile option is two loops. The 10-mile race has one water/food station at the finish area; the 5-mile race has no stations. Aid station supplies include water and gatorade. Food for participants will be provided by the New Orleans Mission.

Runners are required to carry a headlamp or flashlight, extra batteries, a whistle, and their own hydration container (camelback, bottle, or belt). The event follows a no-cups policy at stations; participants must refill their own bottles. Other rules include no dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, or earphones on the course. Cutoffs and race rules are enforced; runners who get lost, cut the course, or follow the wrong course will not receive place awards. Medals and awards will be given to finishers.
