Q50 Races Chupacabra

Event information

The Q50 Races Chupacabra night trail race is scheduled for November 6, 2026, at Bogue Chitto State Park, 17049 State Park Blvd, Franklinton, LA 70438. The event offers two distance options:

• 10 miles
• 5 miles

There is a $3 per person park entrance fee; the fee will be collected at the event. Packet pickup and race registration are handled at the park meeting room.

Course, aid and participant requirements

The route is a dirt trail night race that starts and finishes at the park meeting room. There is one aid station that will provide water and Gatorade, and food for participants will be provided by the New Orleans Mission. Runners must bring their own hydration container; the event will not provide paper cups.

Participants are required to carry a headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries, and a whistle. Glasses or contact lenses should be brought if needed. Use of headphones, dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, and vehicles accompanying runners on course is not allowed.

Runners must pack out their trash and must not remove flora, fauna, rocks, or other natural materials. Failure to follow course or environmental rules may result in disqualification.
