Course, aid and rules

The course is a dirt trail described as scenic with some small hills and is not technical. There is one aid station in total; water and gatorade are available and a water/food station is located at the finish line. Food for participants will be provided by the New Orleans Mission.

Runners must carry personal hydration (camelback, water bottle, or hydration belt), a headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries, and a whistle. Paper cups are not provided - participants should bring their own container. Headphones, dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, and vehicles accompanying runners on course are not allowed. Runners must carry out their trash and may be disqualified for leaving litter or for taking flora, fauna, or rocks. Companions and family may assist only in assigned areas at the start/finish.
