Q50 Races Chupacabra Night Trail Race

This event is a night trail race held at Bogue Chitto State Park, Meeting Room, 17049 State Park Blvd., Franklinton, LA. The course is on dirt trails with some small hills and is described as not technical. The organizer provides one aid station that supplies water and gatorade. Food for participants will be provided by the New Orleans Mission.

Participants must bring a bright headlamp or flashlight, extra batteries, and any prescription glasses or contacts they use. The event operates a bring your own bottle policy; there are no paper cups at the water station and runners should carry a camelback, hydration belt, or water bottle. A whistle is required and earphones are not allowed.

A $3 per person park entrance fee will be collected at the site. Companions, family, and friends may only assist runners in assigned areas such as the start and finish. Vehicles are not permitted to accompany runners on the course. Runners must carry out their trash and follow rules to avoid disqualification.
