Q50 Races Trails Extravaganza is a trail running event at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, LA. Distances offered:

Participants pay a $3 per person park entrance fee. There is no refund policy. Finishers in the 50-mile distance receive a half buckle and 30-mile finishers receive a walking cane; participants will also receive a medal, event swag, and a finisher meal.

Course, aid and rules

The course is described as mostly single-track dirt, with loops of about 10 miles. Water will be available at aid stations for filling personal hydration containers; the event follows a minimum paper policy and asks participants to bring their own hydration containers. Two food stations serve the 50, 30 and 20 mile distances; there is no station for the 5 mile course and the 10 mile course has one station. Runners are required to carry out their trash and may be disqualified for leaving litter.

Mandatory and prohibited items and behaviors include a required whistle and carrying a hydration system or bottle, and bans on dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles and earphones on the course. No pacers are allowed and companions may only assist at the start/finish or in assigned areas. Ultra distances have a 14-hour cut off; cut off times are not negotiable.
