Q50 Races Trails Extravaganza
The Q50 Races Trails Extravaganza is held at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana. The course consists of 10 mile loops featuring single track dirt, sand, and gravel surfaces. Participants will encounter natural terrain including tree stumps and roots throughout the route.
The event offers five different distances for participants:
- 50 miles
- 30 miles
- 20 miles
- 10 miles
- 5 miles
This race operates under a green policy to reduce environmental impact. It is a "Bring Your Own Bottle" event, meaning no disposable cups are provided at water stations. Participants must carry their own hydration equipment, such as a camelback, hydration belt, or water bottle. Mandatory gear also includes a whistle. Runners are required to carry out all personal trash to the finish line.
The course features two food stations for the longer distances, while the 5 mile distance does not have an on-course station. A finisher meal is provided for participants at the end of the race. Specific awards are designated for certain distances, including a half buckle for the 50 mile finishers and a walking stick for the 30 mile finishers.
