Course and services
The course is mostly single-track dirt inside the state park and is run in loops of about 10 miles. Longer distances have staffed food stations on the course; there are no stations for the 5-mile course. The 10-mile course has a station near mile 2 and again near mile 5. A finisher meal is provided and some distances have specific finish items listed, for example a half buckle for 50-mile finishers and a walking cane for 30-mile finishers.
Rules and requirements
Runners must carry required items such as a whistle and their own hydration container (camelback, hydration belt, or water bottle). The event follows a bring-your-own-bottle policy; no cups are provided at water stations. No dogs, pacers, bicycles, baby strollers, or earphones are allowed on the course. Participants must carry out their trash and may be disqualified for leaving waste or otherwise not following rules. The ultra cutoff is 14 hours. No refunds are offered.
