Pikes Peak Road Runners Fall Series

The Fall Series is four trail races held in different city and county parks. Distances increase as the series progresses and the courses use a mix of wide open grass fields, regional trails, single-track sections, rocky slopes, and uneven footing. Trails may include roots, loose rocks, and other natural hazards; one course notes the presence of snakes.

The series format and rules:

  • 3.8 miles Bear Creek Terrace
  • 4.0 miles North Monument Valley Park
  • 5.5 miles Piñon Valley Park and Ute Valley Park
  • 7.4 miles Palmer Park

Entrants must be at least 15 years old. No animals, baby joggers or strollers, earbuds or headphones, bikes, or trikes are allowed; violations result in disqualification. Registration is online only with no race day registration; registration closes at 5:00pm the day before each race. The events are chip timed and all scoring is based on chip time.

Awards are given only to participants who complete all four races. Overall awards are listed for the top five male and female finishers; age-group awards go to the top three in five-year increments from 15-19 through 85-89. Overall award winners are not eligible for age-group awards. A commemorative unisex short sleeve shirt is available for an additional fee. First responders and eligible military receive a discounted entry after providing identification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
