The Pier to Pier Beach Run is a beach running event in Myrtle Beach. It features two main runs.

  • Pier to Pier Beach Run: A 5K race on the sandy beach.
  • Pier to Pier Fun Run: An untimed 1-mile run/walk.

Course Details

The 5K course starts near the Springmaid Pier. It goes on the beach under the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier to a turn-around point 1.55 miles from the start, then returns. The start and finish are in the same location.

Participant Information

All participants in both events receive a custom finisher's medal and a commemorative T-shirt. Registration before a specific date (March 20, 2025) is noted as guaranteeing T-shirt size. The Fun Run starts after the 5K concludes.

Location and Logistics

The event is based at the Nash Street Public Beach Access at 3201 Nash Street. Parking is available at this location and at a nearby hotel garage. Coastal RTA shuttles may run from additional parking if needed. Packet pickup is available on the day before and the morning of the event.

Awards
