SOHO-HO AND AWAY WE GO!

SOHO-HO and Away We Go is the third annual holiday trail and road race held at Silver Coast Winery in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. The event offers two distances:

5K - 3.1 miles
1 Mile - 1 mile

The course passes through holiday-themed areas including Candy Cane Lane, Russtown Road, and a vineyard section. The 5K is a mixed gravel and road course with one water stop; runners and walkers are welcome. All finishers receive a medal. T-shirts are guaranteed for those who register on or before November 13, 2026; shirts are adult unisex sizes XS through XXL.

Packet pickup is available at Silver Coast Winery the day before the event and on race morning. The post-race area, called Santa’s Workshop, provides participant wine or beer, snacks, a photo area, holiday music, and a costume contest. Proceeds benefit the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association, which assists veterans and their families in and around Brunswick County.

Event policies note that strollers and pets are not allowed and that there is designated parking. The event is produced by SOHO Running Club and relies on volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
