Event location and course

Dragon's Eye Race 1 takes place at Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Cranleigh, Surrey. The route is a looped, off-road trail through the estate and is described as mostly flat. An aid station will be positioned behind the main building, with access to the polo club facilities. The event offers an overall time limit of seven hours for each participant.

The event uses a lap format so runners can complete multiple laps of the loop. Distances available include:

  • Ultra (multiple laps possible)

The minimum distance recorded is 2.62 miles, or the distance covered within the seven-hour time limit. Entry fees listed are £37.95 for affiliated runners and £39.95 for unattached runners. Places are limited. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under under UK Athletics rules. All participants, attended and virtual, receive a free medal or memento. Celebrate Valentine's Day with riverside laps along the scenic Thames at Xcel SPORTS HUB. Choose 5k to ultra, run as many laps as you like within a one hour start window and 7 hour limit, and earn a bespoke finisher medal.

Take on the Hot Lips Run at Crystal Palace Park and choose how many 1.65 mile laps to tackle, from 5k to ultra, on scenic off road trails with rolling hills. Timed with a 7 hour limit and a finisher memento for all entrants.

Riverside races at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club near historic Runnymede. Marathon, half marathon and 10 km run on flat out and back laps along the Thames with marked turnarounds, check points and chip timing.
