Phoenix Running West Sussex - Dirty Dozen Run

Phoenix Running West Sussex will hold the Dirty Dozen Run on Sunday 19 April 2026 at Buchan Country Park in Crawley, West Sussex. The park covers 170 acres and has held the Green Flag Award since 2010.

The event is a timed lap format on an approximately 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out and back course. Runners choose how many laps to complete within a seven hour time limit. The minimum distance is 5 km (3.1 miles). Available distances include:

Participants may select one of twelve previous medals on offer or choose a lower cost no medal entry at a flat £22. A medal entry price of £39.95 is listed for entries that include a medal. The surface is off road, compact trail. The event operates flexible rock up and run start arrangements and can accommodate special start time requests depending on distance. A 7 hour lap-based time challenge along the River Thames at Wraysbury with flexible self-paced distances from 3 km up to 50 km, signed course, aid stations, medals, goody bags including vegan options, and distance pins for longer efforts.

A 100 mile continuous Thames Path race from Richmond to Oxford, mostly on groomed trails and riverside paths. The route gains about 1 900 ft, includes aid stations and mandatory kit checks, and must be completed within 30 hours.

A guided 30 mile trail run near Guildford on 2 May 2026 that follows parts of the North Downs Way and the Greensand Way. Led by an experienced ultra runner and coach, it includes Leith Hill, a kit list and an end of run alcohol free beer.

A three day series across East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill offering 10 mile, 10k, mile and fun run distances plus combined marathon and virtual options.
