Phoenix Fridays - Funky Friday

The Phoenix Fridays are a series of running events held on Fridays. They offer a flexible start format where participants can "rock up and run" at a time that suits them.

The events are smaller in scale and have a lower entry fee compared to the organizer's standard weekend events. All finishers receive one of the organizer's "legendary" medals. A selection of big, bold, and bright medals is available to choose from at each event.

The format is a timed event where participants choose their own distance. They run laps of a 5.3 km out-and-back course along the River Thames. Participants can complete anywhere from one lap to as many as they can within the full 7-hour time limit. The minimum official distance is 3.28 miles (one lap). The course is on a flat, riverside towpath with no elevation gain.

Places for the event are strictly limited. Age restrictions for distance apply to participants aged 20 or under, as per UK Athletics rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
