Pete Hawley People's 7

Pete Hawley People's 7 is the 27th annual trail race held on 08/01/2026 at Matheis Grove Pavilion, East River Road, Barkhamsted, CT. Registration opens 05/03/2026 and closes 07/31/2026. The registration fee is $20. There is no race day registration. Out-of-state participants must pay a State Park entry fee of $15.

Start, registration, and finish are located behind the Matheis Grove Pavilion. The 7 Miles trail course follows the Blue trail, joins the Yellow trail at about 2.5 miles, continues on Yellow to the Orange at about 5.5 miles, then returns to Blue to finish near the pavilion.

The event is USATF sanctioned. Timing and results are provided by Greystone Electronics and official results are posted online at greystoneracing.net. There is a limited post race celebration. Awards at the finish area recognize the top three men, the top three women, and the first man and first woman in each age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
