Jug End Loop Ultra
The Jug End Loop Ultra is scheduled for August 22, 2026, at Jug End State Reservation, 120 Jug End Road, Egremont, MA. The event includes a standalone 4.2 mile run and a timed 6 hour ultra in which participants complete repeated laps of the same 4.2 mile course.

The 4.2 mile lap runs through woods, fields, and an apple orchard. Each lap includes approximately 2.1 miles of uphill and 2.1 miles of downhill, with about 830 feet of elevation change per lap. No partial laps are scored for the 6 hour event; a 0.75 mile mini loop will be available during the final 60 minutes to allow shorter laps for finishing specific milestone distances.
Registration features an early bird period through December 1st and regular registration afterward. The event benefits the Louison House in North Adams, MA; past editions have donated more than $10,000 to that organization. Profits from the 4.2 mile John G Memorial Run are designated for Dana Farber.
Awards include overall male and female honors, expanded age group awards for the 6 hour event across standard age brackets, handmade awards for champions, and a 16 ounce handmade ceramic mug for all finishers.
