The Jug End Loop Ultra is a 6-hour ultra running event held at Jug End State Reservation in Egremont, Massachusetts. Participants run multiple laps of a scenic 4.2-mile course featuring woods, fields, and an apple orchard, with an elevation change of 830 feet per lap. The course includes uphill and downhill sections and a special 0.75-mile mini loop used in the final hour to help runners reach distance milestones.
A shorter 4.2-mile memorial run is also offered. The event supports local charities, including the Louison House homeless shelter and Dana Farber. Finishers receive a handmade ceramic mug, and awards are given by age group and overall winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
