Peak Raid Summer Race - Supporting Buxton Mountain Rescue is a 3 hour MM score event in the Peak District in England. The venue is Great Longstone, with the route running onto Longstone Moor and Edge, postcode DE45 1TZ. The race takes place on Sunday 31 May 2026.

The event has a minimum age of 14, and runners under 18 must run with a parent or guardian over 21. There are no separate junior races. Teams are not allowed, but solos or pairs can take part within the event format.

The race has a permit and UK Athletics insurance from the Fell Runners Association. It is held to support the Buxton Mountain Rescue Team, and all money raised is donated to help their work.

Format and Entry

This is a 3 hour score event using a mountain marathon (MM) format. A map is provided, based on a custom survey and printed on waterproof paper. Skills listed for the event are ER and NS.

Entry is pre-entry only, with no entry on the day. Entry is via SI Entries. There is a closing date on the Sunday before the event, with a £3 surcharge for late entries. Pre-entry fees are £15.00 for members and £18.00 for non-members.
