Race Format and Details

This is a mountain marathon score event where participants have 3 hours to visit as many checkpoints as possible. It is open to participants aged 14 and above. Participants aged 14 to 17 must run with a parent or guardian who is over 21. The event is for solo runners or pairs. A pre-printed, waterproof map is provided. Hot drinks and flapjack are available after the race.

Pre-entry is required; entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are £20.00 for members and £22.00 for non-members, with an early bird discount of £2 available. Marathon and half marathon along the traffic free Tissington Trail in Derbyshire. The out and back course climbs to Parsley Hay then returns to Ashbourne Leisure Centre, with route maps and GPX files available.

Bleaklow Blitz is an AM fell race on 26 April 2026 near Torside covering 12.9 km with 452 m of climb. The route follows the Pennine Way to Bleaklow Head before returning the same way.

A 15.4 km fell race in Hayfield on 26 April 2026, with an entry fee of £12 and a minimum age of 18. Race numbers and timing chips are collected at race registration on the day.
