The Paseo de Mariposa Trail Race takes place in Mariposa, California. It is the seventh annual edition and begins at the historic Mariposa Courthouse. The event is organized by San Joaquin Running Co. All children under 18 may participate in any race for free.

Course and safety
The 5K course starts at the courthouse and includes paved road sections, a short climb past the high school, and a dirt fire road turnaround. The 12K course includes steep descents, a creek crossing, and a single-track climb to Slaughterhouse Road and the Flume Trail, with significant elevation gain. No strollers are permitted on the 12K and youth under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Aid stations will be positioned across all distances. Mariposa County Search and Rescue will be on site for runner safety. Trails include technical terrain such as rocks, roots, and climbs. Dogs are not permitted on any route.
