Yosemite: Tuolumne Meadows

This is a multi-day trail running trip in the High Sierra that visits Yosemite backcountry terrain and alpine meadows. The itinerary includes summiting El Capitan, North Dome, and Cloud's Rest, traversing the Tuolumne Ten Lakes Basin, and running alongside the Merced River across point-to-point routes.

  • Distances: 40-98 miles over 4 days

Aspire coordinates camping reservations, backcountry permits, shuttles, meals, and guide support. The basecamp is a glamp-style setup at Tioga Pass campgrounds. Runners may bring their own camping gear or rent a full kit. Meals include breakfasts, dinners, and on-trail fueling options, with accommodations for dietary needs.

Shuttles connect trailheads and make point-to-point routing possible. Runners can take public transit from Mammoth, CA or Reno, NV to Lee Vining, CA for pickup. The guide team provides area information, logistical support, safety coverage, and communal meals.

A sample run day describes a roughly 24-mile route that crosses Cathedral Pass, ascends Cloud's Rest, and descends to Tenaya Lake before returning to camp at Tioga Pass. 2026 trip dates listed include June 30–July 4 and July 7–11. Trip cost tiers are Early Bird $2250, Regular $2350, and Late $2450, and payment plans are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
