Shadow of the Giants is a trail running event held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, near Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. The race uses historic trails through the Sierra National Forest and passes through Nelder Grove, where runners encounter Giant Sequoias.

The start and finish are at Camp Green Meadow Outdoor School, 7798 White Chief Mountain Road, Fish Camp. Early bib pickup is available the day before in the Camp Green Meadows cafeteria; race-day bib pickup is also handled in the cafeteria. Pets are not allowed on campus except for service animals.
Aid stations are spaced roughly 5 to 7 miles apart and provide energy gels, hydration, fruit, salty and sweet snacks, PB&J, pickles and basic first aid. The 50k has an eight-hour time cutoff; early starters receive an additional hour.
Camp Green Meadows offers bunk lodging with showers and restrooms; bunks are first come first serve and attendees must bring bedding. Tent camping is not permitted on campus and oversized vehicles are expected to park off campus on nearby forest roads. Parking at the venue is limited; additional parking may be available along nearby roads near the final approach to the finish.
Finishers receive medals; the 50k awards overall top three men and women and age-group awards in ten-year divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
