The course is a technical trail route through Hemlock Overlook Park and down by the river, with significant elevation changes and a technical rock section. The 10k consists of two laps of the 5k route. Points from these races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is available.

Runners receive a glass of wine from Paradise Springs, a finisher medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing.

Logistics and services

Registration fees are listed as $35 for the 5k and $50 for the 10k through Feb 15, with higher prices afterward; prices increase by $5 on race morning. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before Feb 18; sizes for race-day registrants cannot be guaranteed. Packet pickup is available at the event; organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the race to check in. Race-day registration will be offered.

Water stations: three on the 10k (approx. miles 2.3, 3.1, 5.4) and one on the 5k (approx. mile 2.3); Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the winery. Final results and series points will be posted after the event; live results will be available on a results service and via a QR code at the race. The event partners with the John P.
