Pandora's Box of Rox is a trail race held on April 25, 2026, at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas. Race distances offered:

• 52.4 mi
• 26.2 mi
• 13.1 mi
• 8 mi
• 4 mi
• Youth 1 mi (open to ages 12 and under; untimed; bib and finisher medal provided)

The 13.1 mile distance is one full lap of the main loop. The 26.2 mile race is two laps and the 52.4 mile race is four laps.

Course and logistics

The course passes through meadows, creek crossings, scenic overlooks, and crosses a large granite dome. An exposed granite section requires some runners to carry water for several miles. Course markings include caution tape, yellow arrows, and confidence markers; reflectors are used for nighttime navigation. When shorter distances break off, signs list distances to guide runners.

Chip timing is used with ankle-mounted chips. Results show both gun time and chip time; gun time is used for official rankings. Pacers are allowed after a runner has completed two full loops; runners aged 60 and older may have a pacer for the whole race.

Aid, drop bags, camping and awards

Staffed aid stations at LAKE A.S. (start/finish/next lap) and JACK A.S. offer full supplies. ROAD A.S. and GATE A.S. provide at minimum water, Tailwind, ice, and snacks; unstaffed water may not remain iced all day. Drop bags are not delivered by staff; runners may place bags at the LAKE A.S. area or at the GATE 360 Bridge location and must retrieve them. First come, first serve camping is available; camping fees apply and day use fees vary for guests. Overall awards include Top 3 male and female and Top Masters male and female (50 and up).
