Pandora's Box of Rox takes place on April 25, 2026 at Reveille Peak Ranch, Burnet, Texas (105 CR 114). The event offers multiple trail distances:

Registrations made before March 31 receive a race shirt. Registrants 19 and under receive an automatic 15-20% discount for races 10 miles and shorter. Camping and day use are available at Reveille Peak Ranch; racers’ day use fees are covered by race registration.

Course, aid and event logistics

The course passes through meadows, creek crossings, scenic overlooks, and includes a large granite dome. The full 13.1 mile loop equals one lap; the marathon is two laps and the double marathon is four laps. The 8 mile and 4 mile routes use portions of the main loop and wider jeep roads to return to the finish area.

Course markings include caution tape, yellow arrows, and confidence markers, with reflectors for night sections. Aid stations: the Lake (start/finish/next lap) and Jack stations are fully staffed with food, drinks, Tailwind and ice; Road and Gate stations provide water, Tailwind, ice and snacks at minimum. Drop bags may be left at the Lake area or at the Gate 360 Bridge location; delivery is the runner’s responsibility and items are not monitored. All races are chip timed with ankle straps; chips must be worn and returned if leaving the course. Pacers are allowed under posted rules.
