Race Regulations

Strict rules apply regarding the use of electronics during the race. In accordance with UKA Rule TR55 S5, all in-ear or over-ear headphones, including noise-canceling earbuds and open-ear devices, are prohibited. Participants found using these devices will be disqualified and removed from the results. However, bone-conducting headphones that sit in front of the ears are permitted. Participants using medically prescribed hearing aids must notify the organizers before the event.

Trail runs nearby

Timed lap event at Buchan Country Park on 19 April 2026 with 5.3 km laps to create distances from 5 km up to ultra within a 7 hour limit. Runners may choose one of twelve medals or a lower cost no medal entry.

A 15 mile trail run from the beer garden of the Ye Olde Smugglers Inne in Alfriston with two pub checkpoints offering a drink and snack; route GPX and a race narrative are provided and results appear within 24 hours.

An eight kilometre trail loop around Icklesham with over 75 percent off road, marked and marshalled course, prizes for first men and women and post race tea and cake. Entry is limited to 60 runners.

A five round summer trail series at Langdon Discovery Nature Park beginning 28 Apr 2026. The first race is a 5k for ages 12 and over, with on the day entries charged at the same price as online.
