The PCT 50 is a 50-mile out-and-back trail run in the Cleveland National Forest, California, held on June 6, 2026. This is the 44th running of the event. Course and logistics
The route is out-and-back with multiple named segments and aid stations. Noted segment distances include Boulder Oaks Campground to Fred Canyon Road (6.4 miles), Fred Canyon Road to Dale's (7.3 miles), Dale's to Per's Cabin (3.8 miles), Per's to Penny Pines (5.2 miles) and Penny Pines to the turnaround (2.3 miles). Fully stocked aid stations are located at miles 6.4, 13.7, 17.5, 22.7, 27.3, 32.5, 36.3 and 43.6; Tailwind will be available at every aid station.
Crews are permitted access only to Penny Pines aid station; drop bags must be labeled and will be available there. Per's Cabin is accessible to crews only by trail or by parking at Monument Peak Road and hiking about 0.25 miles north on the PCT. Pacers are allowed beginning on the second pass through Penny Pines or at Per's Cabin on the return. The event operates under permit on the Cleveland National Forest.
