Over the Top Trail Race - Pocatello, ID
Pocatello Running Club will hold the tenth annual Over the Top Trail Race on May 8, 2027 in Pocatello, ID. The event uses singletrack in the City Creek Trail System near S Grant Ave. The trail network includes scenic overlooks, wildflowers, cacti, rolling climbs, and flowing switchbacks close to town.

- Trail Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Organizers note recent distance and route changes. Former 3 mile and 5 mile loops were revised into 5K and 10K courses. The longer races were revised into a true trail half marathon and a 30K loop. The two longer races now go up "Under the Top" counterclockwise first and then go over "Over the Top" clockwise second.
The half marathon route is described by organizers as very challenging and "slightly fat." The 30K is noted to include late-race hill climbs. The event allows roll-overs but does not allow bib transfers. Early bib and bag pick up is scheduled for Friday, May 7, 2027 from 4pm to 6pm at Centennial Park. Registration opens January 1, 2027 at 12:00 AM MT.
