Over the Top Trail Race - Pocatello, ID
Pocatello Running Club presents the ninth annual Over the Top Trail Race on May 9, 2026 in Pocatello, Idaho. The event uses singletrack in the City Creek Trail System located close to town.
The course environment includes scenic overlooks, wildflowers, cacti, gentle rolling climbs, and flowing switchbacks. Trails are described as classic singletrack with close proximity to urban access.

Organizers report route and distance updates for 2026: the former 3 mile and 5 mile loops were revised into the 5K and 10K, and the longer races were changed to a true trail half marathon and a 30K loop. Both longer races follow an "Under the Top" counterclockwise section first, then an "Over the Top" clockwise section.
The organizer notes the half marathon can be physically demanding and the 30K includes late-race hill climbs. Roll-overs are allowed but bib transfers are not permitted. Early bib and bag pick up is Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm at Centennial Park. Registration closes Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time.
