OUTLAST Charlotte - event overview
OUTLAST Charlotte is a six hour trail endurance challenge held on March 14, 2026, at Porter Farms Inc, 7600 Miami Church Rd, Concord NC 28025. The format requires runners to complete a 5K every hour, on the hour; each lap must be finished within that hour to continue in the event. Missing a lap removes a runner from further rounds. Completing all six rounds results in a full finish and national ranking eligibility.
Courses are trail based and feature natural terrain, elevation changes, and occasional pavement or gravel. Runners have short recovery windows between laps to refuel and prepare for the next 5K. The event provides a basecamp loop start with water, basic hydration, and snacks; it is a cupless event so participants should bring their own bottle or hydration system. Tent or personal aid setups are permitted at the site.
Recognition and prizes are awarded by performance and completion. Completion rewards include a premium OUTLAST tee for all participants, a patch for four laps, a patch for five laps, and a premium OUTLAST medal for six laps. Top male and female finishers at each event are recorded on a national leaderboard. The fastest overall across OUTLAST events is designated National Champion with a stated cash prize.
