Outlands Endurance Races
The Outlands Endurance Races take place on April 18, 2026, at Peninsula Campground in Pilot Hill, California. Courses run along the lakeside edges of Folsom Lake and use a mix of remote singletrack and double-wide trails. Each distance is an out-and-back route and includes sustained climbing over varied trail surfaces. The event is organized by Bad Luck Run Club.
Course details
Aid stations are positioned along each course and are stocked with gels, chips, candy, potatoes, bananas, water, and Skratch Hydration. Drop bags are allowed for the 50K at Acorn Creek Aid Station and for the 50M at Acorn Creek and Magnolia Ranch aid stations. The 50K and 50M both count toward the Sierra Ultra Trifecta. All runners receive an Outlands runner hat, a custom wood award, and a post-race meal; top finishers receive a custom wood plaque or standing award. - 50M - 50 miles, out-and-back to Magnolia Ranch, about 6,100 ft elevation gain, 7 aid stations, drop bags allowed
