ORRRC Winter Solstice Trail Run - Yellow Springs, OH - December 19, 2026

The ORRRC Winter Solstice Trail Run is a trail half marathon presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The event is based at 3690 State Route 370 with parking directed to John Bryan State Park at 3790 State Route 370.

Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup; participants collect their timing chip at the green registration table on race day. Race day registration is available online until approximately 15 minutes before the event and hard copy registration sheets are available if needed. Minors may be pre-registered by a parent or guardian and must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian either online or on the registration sheet at the event.

Timing uses chip results. The race allows 4.5 hours to complete the course and requires participants to reach the final aid station within 3.5 hours. Runners who finish before the cutoff time will receive a commemorative finisher award; small age group awards may be given depending on finish positions. Refreshments are provided.

This race is run as an ORRRC small race. Current ORRRC members run for free when their RunSignup membership profile is used or when they show proof of membership. Non-members pay ten dollars for ages 15 and up; the event is free for ages 14 and under. Volunteer opportunities are available through the event volunteer sign up.
