ORRRC Winter Solstice Trail Half Marathon

This is a trail race of approximately 13.5 miles held in Yellow Springs, Ohio, with parking at John Bryan State Park (3790 State Route 370). The course includes aid stations and downloadable maps and files are available through the event's course information materials.

Participants have 4.5 hours to complete the course and must reach the final aid station by 3.5 hours. Timing is used for results; all participants are required to check in before the race and attach the assigned timing chip to one shoe. Look for the table with the green tablecloth to collect the chip.

Registration is available through RunSignUp prior to the event; online registration remains open until shortly before the race and in-person registration and hard copy registration sheets are available on race day. Minors may be registered by a parent or guardian, who must sign the waiver in person if registering at the event.

Fees: current ORRRC members are eligible for waived fees when membership is confirmed; non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and up, and ages 14 and under register free. Awards are given to the first 200 finishers who complete the race before the stated cutoff. Volunteers are requested for check-in, aid stations, course marshals and course sweeping; the first 15 volunteers who sign up via the RunSignUp volunteer tab receive a gift.

Animals are not permitted at ORRRC events except clearly identified service dogs; persons with other animals will be removed and will not receive a timing chip or appear in results or photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
