John Bryan Arboretum Trail Half Marathon and Challenge

This running event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026 in Yellow Springs, Ohio at John Bryan State Park Arboretum. The course is a 1.1-mile loop that allows participants to build their distance by completing multiple laps.

A timed 5K at Patricia Allyn Park on July 19, 2026, with online and day of registration. Current ORRRC members run free; non members 15 and up pay $10.

An orienteering event at Lost Creek Reserve on July 26 hosted by the Miami Valley Orienteering Club, with courses for multiple skill levels, loaner compasses, chip timing, and an $8 entry fee.

Trail races at Oakes Quarry Park in Fairborn offer 1.55 mile, 5K, 10K and 15K distances over limestone cliffs and wooded trails. Overall winners receive awards and all finishers get a medal.

The Fearless 5K in Mechanicsburg features a cross-country 5K, a 1 mile run/walk and a kids 1/4 mile on cinder track, with on-site entertainment and vendors while raising funds for youth 20 and under with serious or life threatening illness.
