The Orland Park Turkey Trot takes place in Orland Park, Illinois, at Franklin Loebe Center, 14650 S. Ravinia Avenue. The event is a chip-timed, cross country race of 2.5 miles run through paved roads, paths and wooded areas near the Village Hall. All participants receive a long-sleeve dri-fit race shirt and are entered into a post-race raffle. Prize turkeys are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in 14 age groups for both male and female competitors, with age groups ranging from U9 to 70+.

Registration and logistics

The 2025 race is listed as sold out. The registration deadline was November 15 or when the event reached capacity. The event fee is non-refundable. A resident discount of $4 was available. Race-day parking is organized into three lots with different access restrictions; one group of lots remains open throughout the race while others have temporary closure periods.
