Naperville Trails Half Marathon and 10k

The event takes place in Wheaton at the Danada Forest Preserve and uses crushed limestone trails that run through the preserve. The course finishes on grass around the horse race track.

Distances include:

  • Half marathon
  • 10k

Both the half marathon and the 10k are USATF certified and the event is chip timed. Course time limits are published for each distance. Pacers are provided for the half marathon with a range of goal finish times. A finisher medal is awarded to every participant in both distances, and winner medals are given to the top three men and women overall and in each age group.

On-site parking near the start is limited. Off-site parking with shuttle bus service is available from designated lots in Lisle. Packet mailing is offered for a fee, and there are pre-event packet pickup options. Participant gear is checked on site using a clear bag provided by the event. Water stations supply water and a sports drink.

Additional participant options include a cotton t shirt or an upgrade to a ladies fit tank top for an additional fee, and a virtual category with mailed gear is available when offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
