Naperville Trails Half Marathon & 10k

The event offers two USATF-certified distance options that run on crushed limestone trails through Danada Forest Preserve in Wheaton, IL. The course finishes on grass near the horse race track and uses chip timing integrated with participants' bibs.

Distances:

  • Half Marathon (USATF certified)
  • 10K (USATF certified)

Both the half marathon and 10K award finisher medals. Winner medals are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and by age group. Age categories start at 10 & under and continue in standard five-year bands through 70+.

On-site services include water stations stocked with water and sports drink, a gear check that requires a provided clear bag, and shuttle parking from designated off-site lots. A virtual category is available; participants who choose mailed packets typically receive gear 1–4 days before race day. Pacers will be present at the half marathon start to assist runners targeting specific finish times.

The event runs in most weather conditions but may be delayed for dangerous conditions such as lightning. All participants must sign an online waiver. Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only; dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
