Orienteering Race #4 Finale

The Orienteering Race #4 Finale is scheduled for November 21, 2026 at the Panama Community Center, 307 Locust St, Panama, NE 68419. The event is a 5 mile orienteering course held on foot, with competitors locating checkpoints across trails at the edges of town and within town.

Racers will follow trails that run along creeks, pasture routes, and wooded areas. The course has a three hour cutoff. Competition entries include solo racers and teams of two or three people, with coed, male, and female categories. CalTopo maps will be pre-plotted for the event and organizers note that a Handy GPS app can be used to view coordinates.

Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes November 6, 2026. The entry fee is $40 per person. Snacks and drinks will be provided on site. Medals will be awarded to the top three teams and top three solo competitors.
