Gravel Worlds Run Series : Lincoln, Nebraska (August 22–23, 2026)
The Gravel Worlds Run Series is a two-day running event hosted by Lauf Gravel Worlds and sponsored by Goodlife Brands. It offers four distances that run almost entirely on gravel and dirt roads around Lincoln, Nebraska. The courses include sustained rolling terrain with frequent climbs and descents averaging about 4–5 percent grade.
Distances and approximate elevation:
- 50k (~31 miles) 2,000 ft elevation
- Half marathon (~13.1 miles) 850 ft elevation
- 10k (~6 miles) 400 ft elevation
- 5k (~3 miles) 100 ft elevation
The event is self-supported: runners must complete their race without outside assistance that is not provided by the race. Water and basic nutrition are available at aid stations; runners should carry specific nutrition and the ability to transport water. Aid stations are placed roughly every 8–10k on the first half of the course and every 5–7k on the second half, with a fully stocked checkpoint near the halfway point.
Courses are marked and GPS files plus downloadable cue cards are provided through RideWithGPS and Garmin Connect. Time limits are enforced: 3.5 hours for the half marathon and 8.5 hours for the 50k (approximately a 16:30 minute per mile pace).
