Event Details

The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, 2026. It is described as a self-supported challenge where runners cannot receive outside support from team vehicles or families on the course. Water and basic nutrition are provided at aid stations, but runners are recommended to carry their own specific needs.

Aid stations with water, hydration, and nutrition are located roughly every 8-10 km on the first half of the course and every 5-7 km on the second half. A fully stocked checkpoint is placed just after the halfway point. Runners are recommended to have a way to carry water.

Course and Requirements

Courses are marked, but runners are recommended to have a form of navigation. GPS files and cue cards will be provided. The event has time cut-offs: 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon and 8.5 hours for the 50k. Half Marathon runners must finish by 10:30 AM, and 50k runners must reach the halfway point by 10:00 AM, with a final race cut-off at 2:00 PM.

The terrain consists almost entirely of gravel and dirt roads in an area that is not flat, featuring numerous hills. The event also features a separate "Double Championships" ultra duathlon combining a bike event on Saturday with a run event on Sunday.
