Opening Day 4 Miler
The Opening Day 4 Miler is a baseball-themed running event in Tremont, Cleveland, produced by Run The Land to mark Cleveland baseball's Opening Day and to benefit Tremont West. The course uses the Towpath Trail and runs through Tremont's streets, finishing at a post-race celebration hosted by Mosaic Brewing near W. 7th Place and W. 10th Street.
The event offers two distance options:
- 4 Miler (Home Run)
- 2 Miler (Second Base)
The course is organized with a baseball theme by mile: Mile 1 : 1st Base, Mile 2 : 2nd Base, Mile 3 : 3rd Base, Mile 4 : Home Plate. At the midpoint, runners will run the bases at Clark Field Park. The finish area opens into a block party intended to limit neighborhood impact while providing ballpark-inspired food, beers from Mosaic Brewing, awards, music, and an opportunity for socializing.
Participation supports Tremont West and the organization's community work in the Tremont neighborhood. The event description records the venue as Mosaic Brewing, 2070 West 7th Street, Cleveland, OH, and lists the Towpath Trail and Clark Field Park as notable course locations.
