Opening Day 4 Miler

The Opening Day 4 Miler is a baseball-themed running event held in Cleveland to celebrate the start of the baseball home season. The race starts and finishes at Mosaic Brewing in the historic Tremont neighborhood. The event is produced by Run The Land and serves to benefit the community work of Tremont West, with a portion of the proceeds and all donations directed toward the organization.

Participants can choose between two race distances:

  • 4 Miler
  • 2 miler

The course utilizes the Towpath Trail and includes a unique segment at the halfway point where participants run the bases at Clark Field Park. The event includes chip timing and an awards ceremony following the completion of the races.

The post-race celebration is held at Mosaic Brewing and features ballpark-themed snacks and music. Participants receive a soft fit t-shirt as part of their registration, with an optional upgrade to a long-sleeve shirt available. A block party and social gathering take place immediately after the awards ceremony to conclude the festivities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
