Event Overview

The Dirty Dash is a trail running event held at the Shelterhouse Picnic Area in the South Chagrin Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks near Bentleyville, Ohio. Course Description

The course winds through the reservation, passing through lush forests and over rolling terrain. It includes the Sulphur Springs Loop, where runners can hear the springs and see small waterfalls. Both distances feature wooded single-track trails and creek-side paths with some elevation change. The setting is described as tucked away and quiet, providing a trail-running experience.

The event is part of the Dirty Trail Series, which features races from 5k to half marathon distances on trails in Northeast Ohio. Donations from the event benefit the Trails Division of Cleveland Metroparks.
