Ondessonk Trail Races
The Ondessonk Trail Races are scheduled for April 11, 2026 at Camp Ondessonk in Ozark, Illinois. This is the 16th annual running of the event and it offers multiple trail-distance options on camp property.
The event adds two new races for 2026: a half marathon routed through spring wildflowers and a one-mile fun run around Lake Echon designed for families. The 5k and one-mile entries are listed as open to all ages. Course terrain for the longer races includes forests, canyons, pastures, and scenic camp trails.
Entry fees and early bird pricing are published for each event with early bird deadlines on March 13, 2026. Current listed prices are: half marathon $50 with a later price increase to $75, Manchester 10k $40 with a later increase to $50, 5k $30 with a later increase to $35, and one-mile fun run $20. Each entry includes a T-shirt; registrations after March 18 are not guaranteed the requested shirt size. Top male and female finishers in the 5k, Manchester 10k, and half marathon are listed to receive trophies.
