Hearts Desire 6-Hour Endurance Run : Herrin, IL

The Hearts Desire 6-Hour Endurance Run takes place at the Herrin, IL Sports Complex on Bandyville Road, 13987 Bandyville Rd, Herrin, IL 62948. The event is a timed six-hour running competition held on a loop course.

The loop is a relatively flat, paved pedestrian trail measuring 1.3 miles per circuit. The start and finish are located on the south side of the complex. Runners complete as many loops as possible within six hours; awards are given to those who complete the most loops.

Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group for both genders. Age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over. All participants receive a Hearts Desire t-shirt.
